Lovibond® DPD No.3 Tablets are utilised to determine total chlorine levels. The DPD No.3 tablet is added to the water sample after free chlorine has already been determined with DPD No.1. The tablet is crushed using the stirring rod and mixed by swirling. The value can now be measured. Subtracting the value of free chlorine from this result reveals the content of combined chlorine. DPD No.3 can also be used to determine bromine, ozone, and monochloramine-dichloramine levels. These tablets represent an essential innovation by Lovibond®, meeting the needs of pool & spa owners, water treatment professionals, and laboratory technicians who require precise measurements of total chlorine levels in water.
