Replacement lifebuoy and rope for Glasdon Lifebuoy Housing.
Glasdon lifebuoys are fully compliant with Chapter III of the Life Saving Appliances code as per the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS).
Lifebuoys are supplied with a 30m throwing rope (8mm diameter) as standard. Alternative ropes are available - please see the "rope" option above for more details.
600mm (24") Lifebuoy:
Outside diameter: 605mm
Inside diameter: 405mm

750mm (30") Lifebuoy:
Outside diameter: 710mm
Inside diameter: 430mm

Material: Polyethylene
The 750mm and 600mm lifebuoy are subject to a UK Marine equipment approval certification to allow them to be used on offshore vessels.
The 750mm Lifebuoy is UK certified for use on offshore vessels.
The 600mm lifebuoy has not been UK certified and therefore is not suitable for use on offshore vessels.
Both sizes of lifebuoy can continue to be used on land i.e. beaches, promenades and around lakes
